General Meeting Minutes
June 24, 2006

Called to order at 10:00am by Larry Dalton

Attendance: 20

• Review of SAR methods
• Deputy Dan Smith and Lt Brett Taylor demonstrated Crime Scene Evidence Procedures. I will post the notes in the "website notes" section of the website.
• The Saturday before the Bureau County Fair, there will be a ride from Larry Allen's to the fair grounds.
• Will we have a group to ride in the Homestead Parade? Linda Strader will be in charge.
• We will have a booth at the Bureau County Fair. Larry will arrange. Will schedule hours for working the booth at July meeting.
• Nancy needs addresses of new members to mail them the newsletter.
• Picture ID cards to be designed following the Sheriff Dept design. Dorene will do.
• Patches have been ordered. Expect delivery second week in June.
• Breast patch (badge) to be designed and ordered. Dorene will do.

Officer/Committee Reports

Commander's Report
Review of SAR training. Uniforms will be ordered.

Secretary/ Treasurer Report
Nancy Williams is now doing the newsletter. Dorene is working on designing a breast patch (badge). They will be ordered as soon as we have a design. Shoulder patches have been ordered and are expected in July. ID cards will be issued. We will need a current picture to place on the card.

New Business

• Uniforms to be ordered
• Next meeting at Larry Allen's - July 29th. Meeting starts at 2pm. Ride to follow. Bring hot dogs and a dish to pass for potluck dinner.

Meeting was adjourned at 11:30. Brian Boers motioned / Rick Guske 2nd.
